What is now known as Chavez Media began as a small print publication produced by the organization that would later be known as the United Farm Workers (UFW), titled "El Malcriado". It was created to help organize their membership base and inform them of their rights as well as the services available to them through the union. The power of this small publication led to a larger dream of being able to communicate to the masses, which is why the Cesar Chavez Foundation took the opportunity to initiate a radio station which later grew into a radio network and has now gone through it's second evolution into a multimedia organization whose reach goes way beyond the fields into the lives and homes of millions upon millions of Latines.
As a multimedia organization, we own and operate four distinct businesses that serve the diverse needs of the diaspora of the Latine community and the advertisers seeking to connect with them. All of Chavez Media’s companies are focused on uplifting and inspiring the audience members that consume what we have to offer, in whatever way that takes shape within our unique portfolio of products and services.
