DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Chavez Media’s short code service is used to send marketing and promotional information, public service announcements, or to conduct polling to persons who opt-in to specific types of messages and send support notifications, account authorization information, and appointment confirmations to existing clients of Chavez Media or any of its subsidiary businesses or brands. 

OPT-OUT / OPT-IN

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

To opt-in to receive notifications from Chavez Media and it’s subsidiaries, simply text the appropriate keyword(s) to the short code in order to sign up for the appropriate contact list:
  • PSA – for public service announcements
  • MORE INFO – to receive promotional and marketing material about all of Chavez Media’s offerings
  • Keyword(s) provided through a marketing campaign – to receive specific information about an individual campaign, promotion, or offering 
  • POLLING or keyword(s) provided through a marketing campaign – to receive opportunities to participate in polling questions that helps Chavez Media and it’s subsidiaries build and improve the services and products we provide
  • SUPPORT – to authorize Chavez Media and/or it’s subsidiaries to contact you with confirmations of requests for support, account authorization information, or appointment reminders. If you are a client of Chavez Media or any of it’s subsidiaries, you will be asked to opt-in to the short code service as a part of your client onboarding process, but this completely optional

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

COST OF SERVICE & MESSAGING FREQUENCY

Chavez Media, nor it’s subsidiaries, charge anything to the receiver for participating in the messaging program. As always, message and data rates charged by your service provider may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Message frequency will vary depending on what communications you have opted in to, how often you engage or participate in opportunities provided as a part of the messaging program, and/or how often you request support services from Chavez Media, it’s subsidiaries and it’s representatives.
